A must stay place!




Really awesome place with a very good view, lovely house (our 1st wooden log house stay). Delicious and yummy breakfast. Kids loved it. We too! Dog is super friendly. Yvonne is a very sweet host. Accommodated our little needs. The rooms were very clean and neat with all necessary amenities. We also did a very short hike in the morning it was refreshing. A quite place in the mountains and away from city. We will definitely visit this place again.

An exceptional stay at a lovely property with a friendly host who cooks magnificent breakfasts. The property is about 8km out of town, but we did not find this a problem. It is set amongst woodland with fantastic views. A really relaxing stay.

Beautiful B&B Near Vernon and Silver Star



This was my first time staying in a B&B. I thought it might be awkward but it wasn’t. You have your own entrance from the outside so can easily come and go. We stayed in the Lair suite, it was beautiful and large with a king bed, sofa bed, bathroom, tv, and mini fridge. There is an outside seating area. An interior door leads upstairs to the shared space where there is a pool table, large living room, and breakfast table. The breakfasts were delicious and very filling. There is a self serve coffee/tea bar. A large wrap around deck has views to the lake. The host and her family, and dog, were so friendly and we really enjoyed chatting with them. I would love to go back in the winter to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub and fire tables, it would be magical in the snow. You are close to Vernon so you can easily head into town or up to Silver Star. We stayed here as we were visiting friends in Lumby and it was a very convenient location for sight seeing or just relaxing and playing pool.

The Best Log House in southern BC CANADA



We were impressed very much on the first glance of this beautiful and wonderful log house. Yvonne was so warm and prepared everything well. Soaking in hot tub on balcony was just what we needed after a long day. The view was amazing . The massive living / play room was gratefully decorated with famous arts from indigenous artists which were described in a log book in detail. I also noticed and love the arts in the bedroom. So many unforgettable scenes in this log house. We also enjoyed her breakfast that she cooked in the kitchen for us. Definitely we will come back.

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay!! Bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable, we used the hot tub one night and was nice and relaxing…Yvonne was a great hostess and made us feel at home!! She made amazing breakfasts for the 2 mornings we stayed there!! I highly recommend.

We received a very warm, almost familial welcome, and the hostess showed us the house and its possibilities. It has an ideal location for exploring the Silverstar and enjoying the views towards Vernon. After a long hike, we were able to relax in the whirlpool and end the evening by the fireplace. The waffles for breakfast were perfect. Thank you!

Beautiful location - stunning mountain setting. Feels very homely and super comfy bed! You feel right at home with tea, coffee facilities - a lounge area and games. The spa is great too! The rooms are large and looks out onto the mountains. A perfect way to spend a night! The Brekky on the morning was superb and created to your taste/dietary requirements. Yvonne goes out of her way to make sure you have everything and are comfortable during your stay. Definitely will be back!
