Yvonne was a very thoughtful host and the Spirit Lodge is one of the top Bed and Breakfast stays we have ever had. Everything was considered and anticipated.

When we arrived, she gave us a lovely tour of the very gracious, beautiful facilities and amenities. (Shout out to Autumn!) Everything was clean and purposeful with plenty of options for in-site entertainment and recreation--pool table, a closet full of boardgames, television and film (some of which was actually filmed AT Spirit Lodge) and pamphlets and literature about local sights and areas of interest. Wow.

Our room was beautifully appointed and comfortable and the included breakfast of Belgian waffles with whip and strawberries, sausage, homemade granola and yogurt was absolutely delicious.

THIS is how you do it! A+

Thank you for the wonderful stay. We'll be returning and bringing others!

I have not seen a bigger lodge made up of wood spanning 8300 square feet of living area. The best thing is sipping drink while enjoying the views of Vernon and valley from a perfectly perched outdoor jacuzzi. Space is massive. One feels at home as soon as the owner Youvvone and very well mannered ‘Autumn’, a golder retriever open the door. We wish we could be living on this side of Atlantic Ocean. That is the only problem. Had it been closer to our home in UK, we would love to come here every few months.

Another amazing trip to Spirit Lodge - fully recommend!!!
We loved staying at Spirit Lodge for the second time. Yvonne is so welcoming and has everything you need - and breakfast is delicious! Beautiful property and space with lots of character and the pool table, hot tub and family room were fantastic. A great spot for families and friends that want to stay together but also have their own space in the separate rooms. We will be back!

Such a gorgeous log house with interesting history and beautiful art. We enjoyed evenings looking out at Kalamalka lake. Breakfast was excellent and host/owner, Yvonne, is very accommodating with food intolerances. Our stay was quite comfortable and relaxing.

Ivonne and Brian offer a special experience with a beautiful log cabin. We stayed in one of the rooms on the lower floor and enjoyed a full breakfast in the common area. We enjoyed chatting with Ivonne and other guests.

Amazing - a definite must stay when in Vernon!
Spirit Lodge at Silverstar is such a beautiful place with views down to the lake & well worth the 10 min drive up & out of town. We stayed in the Lair room & particularly loved all the wooden features of the room & whole lodge. Both Yvonne & Brian made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The beds were super comfortable & all had top quality linens. The hot tub was great, even in the heat as the temperature was lowered a little so it was more refreshing & it was extremely relaxing with superb views.

There was a room with tea, coffee etc always available & the breakfasts were the best we experienced throughout our whole holiday. We had omelettes one morning & French toast another & there was always homemade granola, yoghurt & cake which we saved for our mid morning snack as there was just so much for breakfast!

Yvonne also went above & beyond as we inadvertently left a tunnel cover from our hire car & she kindly drove it down to Vernon to be picked up for us.

Overall a fantastic stay in a lodge with incredible views where we felt really away from it all, although only a few minutes drive from Vernon. We would definitely stay again & would have no hesitation in recommending to all those wanting to visit the area.

Beautiful big lodge!
We had a great one night stay here, as our stop driving from Vancouver to Calgary. Our room was big (a large bed, plus a pull out couch) and comfortable, and we also had use of the main areas upstairs which we weren't expecting! The lodge is beautiful and the main double-height space was really special. We also loved the book the owner had made about the lodge, and the indigenous artwork she'd collected. The hot tub was big and had nice festoon lighting, and there were special hot/cold mugs we could take in to enjoy a drink in the tub in the evening. Breakfast was huge - a big plate of waffles with berries, as well as banana bread, and granola. We heard from other travellers that they'd had a different breakfast the day before so it sounds like if you stayed a while you would get treated to a great array. We were very happy with ours! Autumn the golden retriever was very friendly (not allowed into rooms, but happy to have a pat in the communal area). All in all we'd recommend this lodge.
