Best stay at Spirit Lodge we could have wished for.




My father and I absolutely loved our stay at the Spirit Lodge. The house and rooms are cozy, warm and carefully decorated. Yvonne is a great host! She is very kind, thoughtful and makes the best breakfast & muffins. The hottub was a great way to relax outside surrounded by the nature. The view from the house into nature is just stunning. Thank you Yvonne for having us, we had a blast!

Our third time visiting Spirit Lodge and as fantastic as ever! This is a special place and we love spending time there and will definitely be back again. The hospitality is phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone.

My sister and I spent 2 nights in August 2025 at the Spirit Lodge and it was a wonderful experience. The Hostess, Yvonne, was warm and inviting and made amazing breakfasts! The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The home is stunning with many areas that guests can use……gGames room, tv room, fire table on the the deck and a hot tub. View from the property is stunning and the log home is beautiful. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Yvonne’s property is a unique, picturesque and spacious log cabin. She also provide her guests with the safety of individually locked rooms with their own bathrooms. The Common entertainment area is very welcoming as is the hot tube on her deck. She has a lovely friendly golden retriever named Autumn who loves every guest. The locale which is about 10-15 minutes from nearby Silver Star ski mountain resort is ideal for ski trip accommodation if you don’t want to be “on the hill” and closer to Vernon for town access. Yvonne’s hospitality tops everything off!!!

Tranquility in a beautiful setting with a lovely hostess


The breakfast was delicious! We were able to heat up a Costco meal and enjoy dining on the deck while enjoying the tranquility and spectacular view. Much better than driving to town for a restaurant meal🙂

Yvonne was an amazing host! She is a sweetheart! My Mom couldn't believe how amazing her place was.

Magical place, exceptional quality accomodation, kind, attentive and responsive hosts, a real treat. Put on your list of ‘must-do’ when near the Vernon area, BC Canada. You won’t regret this experience

Spirit Lodge - A Great Find in the Okanagan Area!



We really enjoyed our stay at Spirit Lodge for so many reasons - - The host Yvonne was so attentive and friendly and she made the most delicious breakfasts! We had some great conversations over breakfast with her and her brother Robert. - Spirit Lodge is in a beautiful location with amazing views! It's also close to Vernon and a short drive to Lake Country. - A dog named Autumn lives at Spirit Lodge - she is so friendly and well behaved. Being dog lovers, we really enjoyed visiting with her too! - Our room was beautiful, clean and well equipped. - We received emails and texts from the host before our stay welcoming us and offering handy information. - Spirit Lodge is very well taken care of both inside and out. It's a beautiful log cabin house well designed for guests. We highly recommend staying at Spirit Lodge and look forward to staying there again! Worth 5+ stars!!

Yvonne was an amazing host! We were welcomed and she toured us around the property. She made breakfast every morning and its absolutely delicious. She was accommodating of our schedules and went the extra mile to make us feel at home. This place is akin to a second home. Definitely don't miss booking it!

A ‘must do’ for any traveller visiting the Vernon BC Canada area, as this accomodation and its hostess offer exceptional value, with unmatchable quality, making this mountain stay-over into the most memorable of experiences. You’re in for a real treat. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience once again at Spirit Lodge, this was our second time here after first visiting last summer. The location is ideal for visiting Silverstar Mountain Resort and the city of Vernon with views overlooking Kalamalka Lake. The Lair room was very large, clean, with a comfy bed. Having access to the main floor of the cabin is great for relaxed evenings playing pool or sitting on the balcony. Yvonne is super friendly and makes amazing breakfasts. Highly recommend staying here.
