Coronavirus Response

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

We are happy to be accepting guests again

• Although we were never mandated by health authorities to cease operations as a Bed and Breakfast during the onset of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, we felt it was safer for our guests and family to close our doors to guests on March 17, 2020. • With the implementation of Phase 3 of the COVID-19 reopening plan in British Columbia we opened our doors to guests again on July 1, 2020. We have redesigned our booking policies at Spirit Lodge to offer our guests a rejuvenating, private getaway with modifications to ensure social distancing. • For the duration of the pandemic Spirit lodge was booking only one room at a time to ensure the safest stay for ourselves and guest's. With the pandemic becoming an endemic we believe its time to open our doors and let more than one group at a time enjoy what the lodge has to offer. • Breakfast is still the same here. No one goes away hungry. A full meal is served at the 8 foot table in the eating area of the great room every morning. This room has ample space for the social distancing required to help keep our guests and our family safe. • As always, we ensure that all linens, surfaces and fixtures in all the rooms and shared rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between the guest stays. Hand sanitizer for guest use is available in each guest room and in the eating area of the great room as well as the main entrance. We encourage all guests to wash their hands frequently with the complimentary soap in each room before using the house amenities. For best practice we will not enter your room during your stay. • If you are looking to book accommodations directly using the Spirit Lodge website, you can book with confidence knowing that your stay is fully cancellable up to 2 weeks in advance of your stay date. In this ever evolving COVID-19 situation, please be assured that we are embracing the flexibility of our cancellation options. • Should you have booked a room through an online travel agent (OTA), such as Expedia or Booking.com, please contact that company directly in order to complete a cancellation or change, according to their terms, conditions and policies.
