COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

We are happy to be accepting guests again

• Although we were never mandated by health authorities to cease operations as a Bed and Breakfast during the onset of the Coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic, we felt it was safer for our guests and family to close our doors to guests on March 17, 2020. • With the implementation of Phase 3 of the COVID-19 reopening plan in British Columbia we opened our doors to guests again on July 1, 2020. We have redesigned our booking policies at Spirit Lodge to offer our guests a rejuvenating, private getaway with modifications to ensure social distancing. • Spirit Lodge has three rooms available to guests. Upon confirmation of a booking for a specific room the other two rooms are closed for the duration of the confirmed booking. This creates an environment of one bubble of guests at a time. It is possible to reserve more than one room at a time. An example of this would be families in the same bubble that require more than one room. We ask that you only reserve multiple rooms if all guests will be coming from the same bubble where they live. This allows our guests to have access to all the amenities of the lodge without risking contact with other guests. We believe this to be the best way to keep our guests and our family safe. • Breakfast is still the same here. No one goes away hungry. A full meal is served at the 8 foot table in the eating area of the great room every morning. This room has ample space for the social distancing required to help keep our guests and our family safe. • As always, we ensure that all linens, surfaces and fixtures in all the rooms and shared rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between the guest stays. Hand sanitizer for guest use is available in each guest room and in the eating area of the great room as well as the main entrance. We encourage all guests to wash their hands frequently with the complimentary soap in each room before using the house amenities. For best practice we will not enter your room during your stay. • Due to the current world coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic we are only accepting Canadian guest reservations. International travellers will not be permitted to reserve rooms. We will continue to revisit this policy as the pandemic progresses. • If you are looking to book accommodation directly using the Spirit Lodge website, you can book with confidence knowing that your stay is fully cancellable up to 24-hours in advance of your stay date. In this ever evolving COVID-19 situation, please be assured that we are embracing the flexibility of our cancellable options. • Should you have booked a room through an online travel agent (OTA), such as Expedia or Booking.com, please contact that company directly in order to complete a cancellation or change, according to their terms, conditions and policies.
